Moderate hiking fitness required
The Trails
Hikes are generally +/-5km off trail, giving us the best chance of seeing as much wildlife as possible. The trail is not technical but does require some hiking fitness as we will hike down through valleys and up hillsides. There are 2 hides in the conservancy and we stop at these for a snack and drinks break.

To make your hike a great experience, we suggest . . .
- 1.5 – 2 liters of water, carried in a comfortable backpack
- Bring along some snacks to have along the way
- Wear comfortable clothing, in layers so you can strip down as it gets warmer
- We recommend a comfortable pair of walking shoes, with good grip
- A trekking/hiking pole is not essential but will help over loose stones and rocks.
- As there is little shade on the trail, we recommend sunblock and a hat or sunglasses
